Learning how to weave has broadened my knowledge, it keeps me busy. If it wasn't for weaving, I would have a job, or an income source or quality of life. I feel happier because of weaving.
Weaving lessons opened several opportunities to me. I could not find a job after my studies and was therefore looking for something to do. I subscribed to the trainings offered by OAA and was taught about how to make different products. It turned out to have a positive impact over my life and today I have even been appointed to train others to weaving.
Because of this opportunity, I am able to learn new skills. As a wife and a mother, handicraft enables me to send my children to school, to provide them clothing and other necessities.

The weaving trainings contributed to enhancing the quality of our lives. Today, we are able to manufacture nice products like women's bags and sandals and we can earn ourselves an income. Over time and and with experience, we get to learn how to better sell our products.

I was trained to handicraft when I was jobless so it has made a positive impact on my life. I had finished my studies and could not find a job. When Global Artisans advertised about the handicraft training that they were providing, I quickly registered for it. I was accepted and started learning and today, I am training other people! My financial situation has improved as well, I can meet my family needs and have also been able to purchase a land plot.
